Fly On The Wall: Durand Bernarr

Calling all music enthusiasts out there! Again, calling all music enthusiasts! There is an artist that has been on the scene for some time now and you may have heard of him. He is a modern, soul singer with high sex appeal and a vocal range that will blow your mind! He draws you in with a rich tone and will captivate you from his baritone all the way up to his alto. Durand has recently been on tour with Erykah Badu as her back up singer. Yeah you read right! That was The Ms. Erykah Badu! That alone let’s you know he has to be very talented because Ms. Badu’s range and style is mind blowing on its own and would require someone [dope] to back it up. But the touring did not stop there. Durand shortly after the end of the Erykah Badu tour went on tour with Kinetic Theory. One stop he made on tour was the Windy City of Chicago at Refuge Live! His performance was [diabolical].

It was a small, intimate concert filled with people who traveled from near and even a few from afar to see the great Durand Bernarr perform. With amazing talent opening up for him, Durand came out and presented us with a soulful vibe that allowed time to slip away from you as you listened. He moved across the stage swiftly and ran his butt off showcasing his vocal range. He performed songs from his latest album, A Fly on the Wall and trust, if you missed this performance you would have wished you could have been a fly on the wall your self! He performed the way a concert should be performed, intimate and dynamic.
